What is a Windows 11 Pro OEM licence?
An OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) licence is a Windows 11 Pro key originally designed to be pre-installed on new computers by manufacturers or system builders. Functionally, it is identical to the Retail version: it includes all Windows 11 Pro features without any limitation. The only difference is that the OEM licence is tied to the motherboard of the first computer where it's activated and cannot be transferred to a different machine.
It's the ideal choice if you're building a new PC, have a FreeDOS machine or simply need to activate Windows 11 Pro on a computer that won't change its motherboard. Same operating system, same features, same Microsoft updates — at a fraction of the official price.
