Veeam Platform Foundation (ex Veeam Backup and Replication)

Now Veeam Availability Suite is called Veeam Platform Advanced.

The new Veeam Platform Advanced licenses are version 12 and contain the following:

1. Veeam Backup & Replication
2. Veeam One (monitoring tool)
3. Each license contains 10 instances, meaning if you have 6 machines, you'll need 2 licenses, if you have 10 machines you'll also need 2 licenses.
4. These licenses cover MV's (VMWare, HyperV, and Nutanix), physical servers, workstation and TB of NAS.
5. The console is NOT limited, you can add as many instances as you need.

Now, Veeam Backup Essentials is called Veeam Data Platform Essentials.

The new Veeam Data Platform Essentials Universal licenses are version 12 and contain the following:

1. Veeam Backup & Replication
2. Veeam One (monitoring tool)
3. Each license includes 5 instances, meaning if you have 6 machines, you'll need 2 licenses, and if you have 10 machines, you'll also need 2 licenses.
4. These licenses cover VMs (VMWare, HyperV, and Nutanix), physical servers, workstations, and TBs of NAS.
5. Your console is limited to 50 instances since they are targeted at small and medium businesses.

New Pack of VBR, ONE and Orchestrator

The new Veeam Platform Premium licenses are version 12 and contain the following:

1. Veeam Backup & Replication
2. Veeam One (monitoring tool)
3. Orchestrator
4. Each license contains 10 instances, meaning if you have 6 machines, you'll need 2 licenses, if you have 10 machines you'll also need 2 licenses.
5. These licenses cover MV's (VMWare, HyperV, and Nutanix), physical servers, workstation and TB of NAS.
6. The console is NOT limited, you can add as many instances as you need.
