Now, Veeam Backup Essentials is called Veeam Data Platform Essentials.
The new Veeam Data Platform Essentials Universal licenses are version 12 and contain the following:
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- Veeam One (monitoring tool)
- Each license includes 5 instances, meaning if you have 6 machines, you'll need 2 licenses, and if you have 10 machines, you'll also need 2 licenses.
- These licenses cover VMs (VMWare, HyperV, and Nutanix), physical servers, workstations, and TBs of NAS.
- Your console is limited to 50 instances since they are targeted at small and medium businesses.
